Award-winning performers Erynn Marshall and Carl Jones of Hillsville, Virginia are partners in life and in music. Their performances weave heartfelt Southern harmony singing with soaring fiddle tunes and intricate guitar, mandolin, and banjo accompaniment.
Erynn learned directly from older fiddlers and singers across Virginia, Kentucky, and North Carolina, carrying forward the deep traditions of Appalachian music. Carl toured and recorded with Norman Blake & the Rising Fawn Ensemble and his song Last Time on the Road was featured on the Grammy Award–winning album Unleashed by the Nashville Bluegrass Band.
Together, Erynn and Carl have shared their music across Canada, Europe, Australia, and China. Between them they have released seventeen recordings, including their two duet albums Sweet Memories Never Leave and Old Tin. They are also featured on Old-Time Sweethearts along with 10 other old-time music couples from across North America.
