The Rock Hearts

Rock HeartsFormed in 2013, the Rock Hearts bring together five veteran musicians from southern New England who love to sing and pick bluegrass, old country tunes, and seek out newer tunes from other genres to “bluegrass-ify.” The band features Joe Deetz (Joe Val & the New England Bluegrass Boys) on banjo, Alex MacLeod (Northern Lights) on guitar, Billy “BT” Thibodeau (Kennebec Valley Boys) on mandolin, Danny Musher (Chasing Blue) on fiddle, and Pete Kelly (Dale Ann Bradley Band) on bass.

The Herald Angels

Herald AngelsThe Herald Angels are a trio of women who play and sing traditional southern music in the most beautiful of styles. Besides Alice Gerrard, a talent of legendary status, they include Gail Gillespie of Carrboro, NC, a noted banjoist, fiddler, guitarist and singer who is currently the editor of the Old-Time Herald magazine, and West Virginia’s Kay Justice, a noted singer and guitarist known for her work in the mid to late 90s with Ginny Hawker.

The Feinberg Brothers

Feinberg BrothersThe Feinberg Brothers bluegrass band, from Long Island, New York, features brothers Rourke (fiddle) and Patrick (mandolin) singing lead and tenor, along with their father Ronnie Feinberg (Fox Family, Miller’s Crossing) on guitar and vocals, well known banjo player Terry McGill, and multi-instrumentalist Peter Elegant (John Herald, Karl Shiflett) on acoustic bass. Blending bluegrass roots with a classical training background, they have delighted audiences with their tight, soulful harmonies and masterful playing.
